Musing A La Mode; Boots’ the name

Boots & oversized knitThe nickname began from a cheap pair of ugg boots and has since grown to be the name repeated throughout the winter season.

imageIf you are all confused, I’ll break it down for ya.

Boots & oversized knitA young girl (this is me, referring to myself in third person can happen from time to time, don’t say I didn’t warn you) buys her first of ugg boots. Naturally, she slops around in the for the entirety of her winter holiday. Her collection of boots grow quickly, meaning more boots for more slopping around. A new nickname of ‘Boots’ catches on from her dad, and well, the rest is history!

Boots & oversized knitSo here I am, trying to not slop around too much in my new favourite member of my boot clan.

Cream knit and red leather clutchPlease make her welcome…. thhhhhheee (drum roll please)

Knee high boot!

Knee high Boots & oversized knitI’ve been on a long winded hunt to find these bad boys, but the wait was truly worth while. Bought from a shop in Florence, and callling out to me at 50% off (how can one say no?!).

Boots & oversized knitPaired with my newly bought long vintage knit and a bright coloured clutch for that pop of colour, this outfit is here to stay. Screaming ultra comfort and a little bit of fun.
