Chocolate Chip Cookies (giant size)

Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 3/4 cups self-raising flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
150g dark chocolate chips

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Cream together butter, both sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.  Add lightly beaten egg gradually, beating well after each addition.  Mix in sifted flour and salt.  Add chocolate chips and mix well to distribute throughout dough.
3. Shape 1 1/2 tablespoons of mixture into balls, place on a lined oven tray allowing room to spread and press down lightly.  Bake in oven for 10 – 12 minutes, until just golden brown.  Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies
