Nope, not the countdown to my birthday (although, yes that IS tomorrow! 😀 )
It’s been Fashion Week!
And one style that I have been particularly hooked on (A.K.A totally fell in love with)
was Alberta Ferretti’s Spring Summer 2014 collection, which walked the runways during Milan Fashion Week.
This feminine romantic style has been paired with a folkloric look, with hints of mexican flair, and adorned gorgeous embroidery gracing the edges of these exquisite pieces.
The stunning floral applique accompanied by bright coloured ribbons and loose braids sets the mood of beautiful, relaxing, sunny days on the mexican shore line – don’t you think?
The pairing of cropped tops with high waisted and long skirts adds an edgy twist to the delicate outfits.
The colourful details embellishing chiffon black and white backdrops, with other pieces of the collection filled with colour and mexican panache.
And to top it off, the outfits are finished with strappy ballet style shoes adding another dimension of elegance.
I think I’ve fallen in fashion love. Hard.

I have to admit I’m not into high fashion at all, but these outfits are gorgeous. And you could definitely do the plain top/stripey skirt in day-to-day life! I’ll be keeping my eye out for stripey skirts now…

Oh my gosh. The floral applique is BEAUTIFUL! I would’ve used the one with the open back as my wedding dress if a) it had been around when I got married, and b) if I had enough money to buy it!!! Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY for the 4th! Sorry I missed it beautiful. Hope that you had a great celebration and that this year will be awesome for you. Hugs xxx
